I REGRET...


I saw a thick wall growing
between you and me.

There I struggled to demolish
and dismantle the thick wall
between me and you, day and night
I laboured.

As one wall collapsed,
was astonished to see another wall
Erected immediately,
I worked hard with more spirit.

When I succeeded at last,
Went into shock to see
It's you who was creating
The iron wall and none.

My being shattered.
I hate myself for demolishing
The wall and seeing the truth
I wish I was ignorant of it.

I should have spent my life
With the wall , my faith
on you intact, my love for you
undisturbed, ignorance a bliss.
